This project is interested in the morphology between the contemporary Chinese city the diverse modes of socialisation. How the city is organised the urban life it produces.

The context in the urban village of Shenzhen, a constantly changing environment. The extreme density of the urban village, juxtaposition of living working space, results in frequent interactions vibrant activities. The sharing of space is rooted in the tradition of urban village, leading to the close bounding in the community.

Therefore the New Brief is:

to reject current urban development model;

to improve current living condition;

to keep stimulate social life in the urban village.
