At just 18 years old, Fafa began performing and holding music residencies in her hometown of Montreal.
Born in Montreal but hailing from Pakistan, Fafa is of Japanese and Finnish decent. She loves to do all things artistic, as well as dance and DJ. Her musical work inspires her to create new artworks and graphic designs. For Fafa, viewing and experiencing her work is an intimate and personal experience that is unique to each individual. She prefers not to name or describe her paintings. ''Descriptions or specific names put an image in the viewers mind and doesn’t allow them to explore other possibilities.''

Fafa describes her work as abstract art. Her musical and dance background is translated in the bold and vibrant hues of her paintings.
Fafa does most of her work out of her home studio in St-Henri, Montreal. She is a a night owl because of the nature of her DJing lifestyle: most of her creative output is completed before dawn.
