Ambra is a member of the highly curated 1X fine arts photography community. Originally from Switzerland, the autodidact founded PictureCooks with her German partner Matthias Klupp. Their work intensively involves digital photography, and image processing to create the hyper-realistic tone of their art.
Ambra describes her work as ‘’something between reality and fantasy’’. Highly saturated pigments, absurd compositions, colorful protagonists in strange landscapes, her photography sends viewers into eerie and uncanny worlds.
