On The Presidential Series - Rawlings

Kwaku thinks of his work as a puzzle: he usually works in series and iterations. To achieve coherence between his artworks, he often repeats the use of the vibrant and dark colours. He carefully selects the palette as a first step.

His work often stems from his personal experience, but also global issues. He is currently conducting a campaign at Parsons questioning the issues of race and ethnicity. He sees art as a platform to hold those discussions.
