Coexistence of Complementary Enterprises

Architectural Representations

The last decades rapid increase in mobility and the deployment of the internet in all spheres of living and working has produced unprecedented changes in occupancy. The case of the office space as a typology is very interesting as it continues to be extremely permeable to changes in society.

The internet has deeply transformed collaboration patterns and challenged hierarchical managerial patterns. There is a belief that social interaction itself can be a source of knowledge production.

So my project hypothesis is to rethink the work space as a distinct building typology.

The project proposes the coexistence of complementary small to medium size enterprises that share facilities as a way to increase cross disciplinary collaboration.
